Episode #17 - Mookie Morris
Mookie Morris is a singer-songwriter and guitar player. Mookie started playing music at the age of 12, and has played in many bands before being featured on Canadian Idol and becoming a nationally recognized artist. We talk about Mookie’s wild foray into live shows, his early teenage bands, and reaching his early dreams by being signed to Sony Music at 18, and the aftermath of being on the other side. We talk about his solo project, to being in a democratic band where he slipped into the back from centre stage and his now re-emergence as a front person. With Owen Norquay on Bass, and Luis Figueroa on Drums, The Mooks are releasing new singles every two weeks with “Going Steady and “It’s Not Easy” so far released.
