Michael Novalski is a songwriter, musician, recording engineer formerly of the band Too Young To Go Steady. He is also the booker of Toronto music venue, Junction City Music Hall. Mike and I talk about recording music, analog vs digital and Mike’s foray into composition using the computer. We discuss songwriting formula over originality, and the feelings of both being late comers to feeling like songwriters. Mike chats about his former band, upcoming song placements in Kim’s Convenience, and his new placement of booking a premier venue in Toronto’s Junction neighbourhood.
